Anime India Mumbai 2026 was a huge hit! Wrapping up on August 30 at the NESCO Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, the three-day event drew over 45,000 passionate attendees. Between August 28 and 30, the venue was packed with everyone from die-hard anime fans and gamers to artists and cosplayers.

The programming was jam-packed. Opening day kicked off with fun activities like the Otaku Quiz, The Last Verdict game show, and the Ramen Quiz Competition. Fans also got a treat with manga launches and voice-acting sessions featuring stars from hit series like Spy x Family and Attack on Titan. Day two was just as busy, featuring meet-and-greets, creator sessions, and a special appearance by Sakamoto Days producer Ryota Hasegawa. Plus, the legendary Naruto director Hayato Date made his first-ever official visit to India, a real highlight for many!

The final day kept the momentum going with various cosplay competitions, including the Naruto and Grand Cosplay contests, and wrapped up with an amazing live concert featuring Luna, Mofomofomo, Yura Akari, and ASCA.

India’s Anime Community Continues to Grow 

It’s clear that India’s anime scene is really coming into its own, and the co-founders are definitely feeling the energy.
