Bangladeshi Street Fighter 6 player SI Anik has won the Capcom Pro Tour 2026 South Asia Final, securing his place at Capcom Cup 13. The victory marks another major achievement for Anik, who continues to establish himself as one of South Asia’s leading fighting game competitors.

SI Anik Takes the Regional Title

Anik defeated fellow Bangladeshi competitor H.J. Tonmoy, who competes under the name T0ny97, 3–0 in the grand final. The result secured the regional championship and a $2,000 prize for Anik.

The win adds to his previous regional final victories in 2023 and 2024, making this his third title in the competition.

Capcom Cup 13 Qualification Secured

With the regional final victory, Anik has qualified for Capcom Cup 13, the international Street Fighter 6 championship scheduled to take place in Tokyo from March 10 to 14, 2027.

The event will bring together top players competing for the world championship, giving Anik an opportunity to represent Bangladesh on a larger competitive stage.

A Milestone for Bangladesh Esports

Anik’s latest result highlights Bangladesh’s growing presence in the international fighting game community. However, competing at the highest level can involve challenges beyond the game itself, including travel expenses and access to sponsorships.

His qualification gives Bangladeshi fans another player to follow as the road to Capcom Cup 13 continues.

Anik will now look ahead to the global competition, where he will aim to turn his regional success into a strong international performance.
