The BFBS Pro League Season 2 Grand Final is set to bring competitive Rocket League to the Royal Air Force Museum in London on September 27, 2026. Eight teams from the UK Armed Forces community will compete for the championship after progressing through months of online qualification.
Rocket League Takes Centre Stage
The Grand Final will feature Rocket League 3v3 Standard, with the competition forming the centrepiece of BFBS Esports' biggest Pro League event to date.
The second season has expanded beyond Rocket League, adding F1 25 and League of Legends to the competition. The inaugural season attracted more than 700 players, highlighting the growing interest in esports across the UK Armed Forces community.
Esports Meets the Armed Forces Community
The BFBS Pro League is designed for members of the wider UK Armed Forces community, including serving personnel, veterans, reservists, MOD civil servants, UK cadet forces and eligible family members.
BFBS says the competition aims to provide opportunities for players to compete, connect and represent their communities through esports. Season Two also introduces an Open Series as part of efforts to expand participation in competitive gaming.
RAF Museum to Host Gaming and STEM Activities
The event will extend beyond the Rocket League tournament, combining esports with gaming, technology and educational activities.
Visitors will be able to experience BFBS esports activities, HADO augmented-reality esports, gaming and simulator experiences with RAF Air Cadets, Royal Navy STEM activities and live performances from military and cadet bands.
The Grand Final itself will be a private event for invited guests and accredited media, while selected activities and coverage will be available to general museum visitors.
When and Where to Watch
The event will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the Royal Air Force Museum London. Doors are scheduled to open at 10:00 AM, with the semi-finals expected around 3:00 PM and the Grand Final at approximately 5:00 PM.
Fans unable to attend can follow the action through BFBS Esports' YouTube and Twitch livestreams. General museum admission is free, although advance booking is recommended.
