The BMSD 2026 Upper Bracket Survival has concluded after three days and 18 matches, with eight teams securing their places in the Semi Finals. The biggest storyline from the final day was Team Apex Gaming, which jumped from 11th to eighth place after winning the final match.

Apex Gaming Qualifies in Dramatic Fashion

Apex Gaming entered the final match in 11th place with 91 points, needing a huge performance to break into the top eight.

The team delivered exactly that. Apex secured a WWCD with 10 finishes, earning 20 points and finishing the stage on 111 points.

That result moved Apex into eighth place, just one point ahead of Vijay Esports, who finished ninth with 110 points.

The final match also featured an important moment from Jonathan, who eliminated Team Outrage's Slug in the closing fight to complete Apex's comeback.

Nebula Esports Finishes on Top

Nebula Esports finished the Upper Bracket Survival in first place with 178 points and five WWCDs.

Team Outrage followed in second with 165 points, while Version 1 x Blue Army finished third with 136 points. Orangutan completed the top four with 127 points.

The remaining teams to qualify were Learn from Past, GodLike Esports, 4TR Official and Team Apex Gaming.

Eight Teams Move to the Semi Finals

The eight qualified teams from the Upper Bracket Survival are:

  • Nebula Esports — 178 points

  • Team Outrage — 165 points

  • Version 1 x Blue Army — 136 points

  • Orangutan — 127 points

  • Learn From Past — 119 points

  • GodLike Esports — 115 points

  • 4TR Official — 113 points

  • Team Apex Gaming — 111 points

Learn From Past also reached the Semi Finals without recording a WWCD during the stage, while GodLike improved its position toward the end of the competition.

Lower Bracket Survival Comes Next

The eight teams finishing outside the qualification zone are Vijay Esports, IRIS Esports, The Knightmobs, Higg Boson Esports, K9 Esports, HyperCatz, MadKings and Lastade Esports.

They are not eliminated yet. These teams will join the Lower Bracket Survival from October 4 to 6, where only the top four teams will advance to the Semi Finals.

The BMSD 2026 Semi Finals are scheduled to begin on October 8, continuing the race toward the Grand Finals.
