Global Esports are going to VALORANT Champions 2026, and now they are also one win away from lifting the VCT Pacific Stage 2 trophy.

GE defeated T1 3-1 in the lower bracket final, winning Split 13-5, losing Lotus 10-13, and bouncing back with victories on Ascent and Haven. They will now face Nongshim RedForce in the grand final, just two days after losing to the South Korean team in the upper bracket.

GE Start Strong on Split

Global Esports looked comfortable from the opening rounds of Split. They built a 10-2 lead in the first half and closed the map 13-5.

UdoTan recorded 20 kills, while PatMen finished with 19 kills and ten assists to give GE an early lead in the series.

Lotus initially followed a similar pattern, with Global Esports moving ahead 8-3. T1 then found their rhythm and won ten of the next twelve rounds to complete a 13-10 comeback.

Global Esports Bounce Back on Ascent

The loss on Lotus did not affect Global Esports for long.

Global Esports regained control on Ascent and cruised to another 13-5 victory. Kr1stal and PatMen led the team with 22 kills each, putting GE ahead 2-1 in the series.

T1 made one final push on Haven. Global Esports held a 10-7 lead, but the South Korean team won three consecutive rounds to tie the map at 10-10.

With a fifth map starting to look possible, GE held their nerve and claimed the next three rounds. The 13-10 win completed the series and ended T1’s tournament run.

Kr1stal finished as the highest-rated player in the series, recording 66 kills and 46 deaths across four maps. PatMen led Global Esports in total kills with 71, while UdoTan followed with 69. The complete match statistics are available on VLR.

GE Get Another Shot at Nongshim RedForce

Global Esports will now get an immediate rematch against Nongshim RedForce.

Nongshim RedForce sent Global Esports to the lower bracket with a 2-1 victory in the upper final. Global Esports responded by beating T1 and earning another chance to take down the home team.

Both finalists have already qualified for VALORANT Champions 2026, so the grand final will decide who leaves Busan as the VCT Pacific Stage 2 champion.

The best-of-five grand final between Global Esports and Nongshim RedForce will take place on September 6 at the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan.
