Thomas “3XA” Foucou is reportedly set to return to SK Gaming for the 2027 League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) season. According to Sheep Esports, the French AD carry is expected to rejoin the German organization after previously representing the team between 2023 and 2024.
3XA Set for an SK Gaming Reunion
3XA previously played for SK Gaming before being benched in favor of South Korean AD carry Cho “Rahel” Min-seong in 2024. His reported return would mark another opportunity for the French player to establish himself in Europe's premier League of Legends competition.
The move would also make 3XA the second reported player locked in for SK Gaming's 2027 roster. Korean midlaner Seo “SlowQ” Ye-bit is reportedly set to remain with the team, with both players having previously played for Karmine Corp Blue.
From Karmine Corp Blue to the LEC
Following his previous stint with SK Gaming, 3XA spent the 2025 season with Karmine Corp Blue in France's Ligue Française de League of Legends (LFL). He helped the team win an EMEA Masters title, defeating Los Ratones in the semifinals during their campaign.
Despite his performances, 3XA reportedly struggled to secure an LEC position during the following offseason. His potential return to SK Gaming would give him another chance to compete at the highest level of European League of Legends.
What This Means for SK Gaming's 2027 Roster
SK Gaming's reported interest in 3XA comes as teams across the LEC explore roster changes ahead of the 2027 season. The organization is also expected to retain SlowQ, potentially building its lineup around the two former Karmine Corp Blue teammates.
Meanwhile, current SK Gaming AD carry Josip “Jopa” Čančar has reportedly been exploring opportunities with other LEC teams. If the reported move goes through, 3XA could take over the position as SK Gaming reshapes its roster for the upcoming season.
SK Gaming has yet to officially confirm 3XA's return. Further announcements will determine the team's final lineup for the 2027 LEC season.
