Team Vitality secured their place in the VALORANT Champions 2026 playoffs on September 30, defeating LOUD 2–0 in Group B’s winners’ match. Following their opening 2–1 victory over Global Esports, Vitality advance with an unbeaten series record.

Vitality established control on their pick of Ascent, building an 8–4 halftime lead before closing out a 13–7 victory. PROFEK set the pace with 22 kills against 10 deaths, giving his team a strong start to the qualification clash.

LOUD’s pick of Summit proved considerably tougher. Vitality led 9–3 at the break, but LOUD answered with nine rounds of their own in the second half, forcing overtime at 12–12.

The contest stretched to 36 rounds before Vitality finally prevailed 19–17, denying LOUD a deciding map on Lotus and securing the sweep.

Vitality’s contributions were remarkably even across the series. Jamppi finished with 43 kills, while all four teammates recorded 42 apiece. LOUD’s lukxo topped the server with 54 kills, but his individual performance could not prevent the Brazilian side from dropping into the decider.

LOUD await Global Esports or EDward Gaming in Group B decider

LOUD still have another opportunity to reach the playoffs. They will face the winner of the October 2 elimination match between Global Esports and EDward Gaming in the Group B decider on October 4.

An EDward Gaming victory would set up a rematch of LOUD’s tournament opener, which LOUD won 2–0. If Global Esports advance, the decider would bring together the two teams defeated by Vitality.

The winner will join Vitality as Group B’s second playoff representative, while the loser’s Champions campaign will end. After coming close to extending the winners’ match, LOUD must now recover for a series with no second chance.
