Team Vitality defeated MOUZ 3–0 in the grand final of ESL Pro League Season 24 on October 11, 2026, at the Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland. The victory secured Vitality’s fourth ESL Pro League title, while Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut earned the tournament MVP award for his outstanding performance.

The Counter-Strike 2 tournament featured 16 teams competing for the championship. Vitality maintained an unbeaten series record throughout the event and finished their campaign with a convincing grand-final performance.

Vitality Dominate the Grand Final

The best-of-five final ended in three maps, with Vitality winning Cache 13–8, Inferno 13–7 and Dust2 16–12 in overtime.

MOUZ initially took a 5–1 lead on Cache but struggled to maintain their advantage as Vitality regained control. Inferno proved even more difficult for MOUZ, with Vitality building a strong lead in the first half.

Dust2 offered MOUZ their best opportunity to extend the series. They reached three map points at 12–9, but Vitality won the remaining regulation rounds before securing all four rounds in overtime.

The victory confirmed Vitality’s position as champions without allowing MOUZ to win a single map.

ZywOo Claims Tournament MVP

ZywOo played a decisive role in Vitality’s championship run. He finished the grand final with 64 kills and 33 deaths, alongside a 1.65 HLTV rating.

His impact extended beyond the final. ZywOo recorded the tournament’s highest average rating of 1.43 across 16 maps, establishing himself as one of the event’s standout performers.

The MVP award added another individual achievement to the French player's career. His performance also highlighted Vitality’s ability to combine individual firepower with consistent team play during the playoffs.

MOUZ Finish as Runners-Up

MOUZ entered the grand final after an impressive tournament campaign. The team completed the opening Swiss Stage with a 3–0 record before defeating FURIA in the quarterfinals and Team Spirit in the semifinals.

Their semifinal victory over Spirit came after a closely contested three-map series, with MOUZ securing the deciding map, Nuke, 13–11.

However, Vitality proved a tougher challenge in the final. Despite MOUZ’s strong form throughout the competition, they could not convert their opportunities into a map victory.

A Record Fourth ESL Pro League Title

The Season 24 championship marked Vitality’s fourth ESL Pro League title, following their previous victories in Seasons 16, 21 and 22. The achievement established the organisation as the competition’s record title-holder.

The win also gave Vitality their second consecutive tournament title following their StarLadder StarSeries Fall victory in September.

With another championship and an MVP performance from ZywOo, Vitality concluded ESL Pro League Season 24 on a high note, while MOUZ left Katowice as runners-up after an otherwise strong campaign.
