A career that gave Europe plenty to believe in

There is plenty of history behind that description.

Caps joined Fnatic for the 2017 season and helped the organization win both EU LCS splits in 2018, picking up the Summer MVP award along the way. That season ended with a run to the Worlds finals, where Fnatic lost 3-0 to Invictus Gaming after defeating EDward Gaming and Cloud9 in the knockout stages.

His move to G2 ahead of 2019 raised the stakes. With Caps taking over mid lane, Luka “Perkz” Perkovic switched to bot lane, giving the team a new look that soon delivered results. G2 won both domestic splits and challenged for the biggest international trophies.

The breakthrough came at MSI. G2 defeated SK Telecom T1 in the semifinals before sweeping Team Liquid 3-0 in the final. Europe had its first MSI champion, and Caps took home the Finals MVP award.

Later that year, he reached a second consecutive Worlds final, this time with G2 FunPlus Phoenix won the title with a 3-0 victory in Paris, but Caps had helped two different European organizations reach the championship match in successive seasons.

What is planned for the Caps in-game event?

Alongside the film, Riot scheduled the Caps Hall of Legends event to begin on September 10. It includes an event pass built around his career and dedicated cosmetic items, bringing the celebration onto Summoner’s Rift. Riot’s event details

According to the published collection breakdown, the cosmetics feature Tristana and Orianna. Risen Legend Orianna is included among the pass rewards, while Tristana headlines the premium collections.

The September rollout follows Caps’ selection as the programme’s third inductee in August. The focus now shifts to the film and in-game content exploring the career behind that recognition.

With Caps still competing for G2, the documentary captures a career that is still being written. His biggest wins already give fans plenty to revisit, even as they wait to see what comes next.
