The PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) 2026 Season 2 regional finals are underway, with the Americas Finals beginning in Brazil while the South Asia Finals have completed their second day in Kathmandu.
Americas Finals Begin in Brazil
The PMGO 2026 Season 2 Americas Finals begin on September 18 in Brazil, bringing together 16 teams competing for a US$50,000 prize pool. The competition will run through September 20, when the champion will be decided.
The Brazilian region has six teams in the tournament, including FURIA Esports, Alpha7 Esports and Loops Esports, alongside RowEsports, Action Esports and Maryland Esports. A total of 18 matches will determine the final standings.
The top four teams from the Americas Finals will also earn spots in the PMGO Season 2 Main Event, scheduled to take place in Pakistan in October.
4Thrives Lead South Asia Finals
Meanwhile, Day 2 of the PMGO 2026 Season 2 South Asia Finals concluded on September 17, with Pakistan's 4Thrives remaining at the top of the standings with 125 points.
Horaa Esports followed in second with 92 points, while Hidden Leaf Esports occupied third with 87 points. Hidden Leaf also secured two match wins during the day.
The five Day 2 matches produced wins for The Gaming Broskis, 313 Esports, Hidden Leaf Esports and Loyalty First. The matches were played across Rondo, Erangel and Miramar.
South Asia Race Continues
The South Asia Finals feature 16 teams, with the competition continuing through September 19. After Day 2, 4Thrives held a 33-point advantage over second-placed Horaa Esports, while Hidden Leaf Esports remained within the top three.
